Kadar in the Kommunity

Improving the Community. Improving Smiles.

We believe that being an integral part of the community is equally important to providing the best, most-advanced orthodontic service in the area. For this reason, Kadar Orthodontics has supported many organizations, both large and small, that seek to make our community a better and safer place for children. In addition to contributing to various community organizations and causes, we have created landmark programs that give back to our community. We invite our patients and their families to join us in many of these community endeavors. Please contact Nancy Reilly, Kadar Orthodontics Charities Coordinator, at info@gokadar.com for more information on how you can join our community team!!

Spreading the Word Through the Kadar Institute

Caring for your teeth is an important routine that should begin as early as possible. And, for those having orthodontic treatment, maintaining proper techniques while at school can help the process move along smoother, and with better results. Dr. Tom and his team believe it’s important to reach students, teachers, and others who can have a positive influence on children’s lives. The Kadar Institute was created to provide age-appropriate seminars on proper oral care and the latest orthodontic technology. If you would like the Kadar Institute to visit your school, call Diane at ext. 251 or dianeb@gokadar.com.

Kadar Karnival’s Mountain of Joy

For the past 18 years, Kadar Orthodontics has held their annual Kadar Karnival for our patients and their families at Tall Pines Day Camp in Williamstown. This fun-filled event is an opportunity for us to say thanks to individuals who support our office. At each Karnival, we adopt a charity to highlight and ask our Karnival attendees to support them through monetary or material donations. In prior years, we have collected items for a variety of organizations including Mothers Matter, Robin’s Nest, Habitat for Humanity, Smiles Change Lives, and many other worthy organizations. We have collected shoes, building materials and personal care items to pamper needy Moms. Through the Kadar Mountain of Joy program, we have donated thousands of dollars worth of needed items to worthy organizations. Just another way we help the community in which we live and work.

Kadar Orthodontics Scholarship Program

It is with Dr. Kadar’s commitment to his patients and the community he serves that the Kadar Scholarship has been established. Established in 2004, it is available to current and former patients who will be pursuing their education at a two or four-year institution or technical school. The scholarships are based on the student’s academic, extracurricular achievements, community service and an essay. Two scholarships are presented annually to one male and one female graduating senior. Congratulations to our 2018 winners, Fiona Kniaz (left) and Payton Wolf (right). Each student received a $1,000 cash award. Read more about our past Kadar Scholarship winners in the Kadar Spotlight
