Congratulations to our 2019 Scholarship Winners Brianna Groch and Gabriel Donados!
This year’s essay assignment was for them to imagine a conversation between Kodi the Kadar Bear and his four Kadar Kubs. In it, Kodi relates a story about himself and how his good oral hygiene and Kadar smile landed him his job as the Kadar Mascot. Both recipients were honored and awarded a $1,000 scholarship at a dinner held at the Kadar Kabin on June 27, 2019.
Brianna will be attending John Hopkins University in the fall to pursue a degree in Molecular Biology on a Pre-Med track. She plans to work as a researcher for a few years before applying to medical school, after which her goal is to become involved in either emergency medicine or psychiatry.
Gabriel’s career goals entail following a path that will allow him to help the world with various engineering designs and feats. He has narrowed down his decision to the field of electrical and computer engineering, more commonly known as robotics. He plans to take courses and major in this field at Rowan University, as he believes this school will put his abilities to the test.
