Congratulations to our 2023 Scholarship Winners Ashleigh Jones of Kingsway Regional High School and Jessica Wei of Washington Twp. High School
Ashleigh plans to attend the University of Delaware and become a Registered Nurse. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree she plans to continue her studies to become a Nurse Practitioner. Ashleigh knew at a very early age she wanted to pursue nursing as a carcer. “I feel as though a hospital stay can be very traumatizing and difficult for many people, and I want to be someone that those individuals can look back and reflect on as a positive aspect.”
Jessica’s interest in the mechanics of the world lead her to Brown University’s Pre-College program, where she learned How the Nation’s Economy works. This ignited a passion in finance. Jessica plans to utilize her knowledge to help make monetary decisions as a financial manager. As an incoming freshman at Princeton University, she will have the necessary tools and skills to achieve her goal: to make a positive socio-economic impact on the community for generations to come!
